Default Beware of www.jaggraveyard.com

Hey all wanted to chime in and let you all know. I replaced my
AAV and purchased the air line from the valve to the intake
manifold from www.jaggraveyard.com I waited a week for the item
to come in (they are in PA, I am in Ohio) after a week I called and
requested a tracking number and info. They said they would call me
back and let me know. THEY DID NOTING. I had to go through my card
holder and put a stop pay for their charge. Do not trust your money
with them.

Good to know. I'm currently having a spiff with thepartsbin.com I've ordered brake pads and shocks from them with no issues, but it's been a massive headache trying to get brake rotors from them. They don't keep the website up to date with regards to what they do and don't have in stock. I actually had someone lie to me and say that the rotors (brembo) I wanted were in stock, and was contacted 3 days later letting me know they weren't in stock. Color me aggravated. I will say that these are my first troubles with them.

I ordered some small thing from them (can't remember what it was). Never got it. Didn't bother to follow up.

Let me get this correct.

Some of you guys order small parts from various suppliers and pay for them.

Then when they don't arrive, you do nothing because the order was too small to bother about.

Sounds like a business idea to me!

Although I have only ordered small items from Summit Racing the postage has been very reasonable with fast shipping.

Thanks for that. I'll be giving them some consideration when it comes time to get some new parts. BTW, I finally got some brake rotors from thepartsbin.com and I installed them last Wednesday.

I don't understand why folks are so intent on sourcing parts from obscure Jag parts houses. For instance, I got 05 XJR Brembo rotors and pads from my local CarQuest auto parts store in in Leesburg FL. That's a little town in the middle of the state. They had them in stock, for petes sake.

In fact, a lot of stuff is available thru local regular automotive parts channels. Albeit, they may have to order it in but you don't have to worry about being jerked around if the stuff isn't right. A lot of us are snake bit from the old days when Jag parts of any kind were only available from dealers, wreckers or exotic parts houses.

Probably just dumb luck but I've placed 3 orders from Jagbits and get the stuff in 3/4 days. Their service folks are excellent as well. Very knowledgable.

I'm going to start a website that sells penny items, and then when they don't arrive, they won't bother to contact me! A penny here, a penny there! I will be a millionaire!

Does the 74 Xj12 have the same blinker lens that my 87 xj6 have? I'm parting it out...
