Default UAE - Middle East

Hi everyone.
I am recently a owner of x-type 2007.
Bought a car blindly and now need to do the first service.
I found garage called Sunshine auto and they inspected the car telling me i have things to change. By their story everything is ok but im concerned about car overheating when i stay in spot with A/C running.
Previous owner disnt have any service history, so the mechanic in that garrage told me i was lucky, car could be in bad shape.
I want to hear from you guys, where do you service your Jag, and prices for tyres, spare parts and stuff.
Im in love with this car, so nice to drive and a sound of 2.5 V6 motor is just perfect.
The Cat is a uniqe car and i intend to keep it, just dont wont to bankrupt because of love. 😂
Thanx everybody for your reply

I would recommend to you the Premier Car Care located at the Al Qouz area. They've got great services there. My XF was fix immediately

Anybody who may need a gearbox repair specialist, I have the mech contact. I got mine repaired last month, and now it is smooth as new, also much much cheaper than what Al Tayer had estimated in terms of cost and time.

constantly getting GEARBOX FAULT message within few seconds after i put the gear in D, and the gear wouldn't shift above 2nd gear, highly limiting the performance, and drinks fuel like a fish drinking water. Also too many jerks while driving and gear shifting. After getting the message, it wouldn't go. Daily usage was damaging the overall performance. I checked with Al Tayer, they estimated 40K++ and 2 months++. Ironically they were not ready to take in the cat. (i was lucky) i waited few months to get a good gearbox specialist. finally got 1 who charged me less than 15k. By good luck, the transmission computer was OK, else that would have costed additional 7k+.

Now I feel the transmission is super smooth as new, and the cat has become more fuel efficient.
