Default My Favorite Shot of my new 2013 Jaguar XK Coupe

I may be biased, but I have several Jags and I think that in terms of pure beauty, pure art, pure sexiness - the XK is the bomb.

Nice. Now every time I whip out my iPhone 5 and try to capture that perfect angle I think, "How does Scott make it look so easy?" LOL. Better stick with what I know.

Wow. Great colours. Did you use a telephoto lens?

I'm rather envying your car collection, Scott. Good for you.

Thanks this was not a telephoto - just the opposite - 35mm

Lol what do I know. Ok, so I understand that formats have changed a lot since the advent of digital....is it common to quote focal lengths in 35mm film format equivalents now, meaning the 35mm you use is a moderate wide-angle lens but the lens itself is not actually 35mm?

Yes EFL *Equivalent focal length) 35mm shot on a smaller sensor but not telephoto in either case

What is up with those rims?!! Those are wild. And I love the smoky headlamps.

How true and you must truly have a good eye. Unfortunately it's beauty is near impossible to capture in the 1 dimensional domain due to the lack of sharp lines. I just saw a interview with the corvette designer, who said he looks at a car from afar and then adds non-functions straight lines to define the car and make it more appealing in print. (not so much in person)
