Cool - I'm in.

I have been a photography enthusiast for longer than I have been a Jag admirer (both 20+ years). I cut over to digital about 10 years ago and have never looked back.

I shoot with Nikon but I am guessing my recent XKR purchase may reduce my budget for new glass.

Oh well, you can't have everything. (That's what the wife tells me anyway).

I just found this spot and think it is a great place to post information on the how to and why. I plan to stop in often to see what I can learn.

This bugged me for a long time. Then I read the owner's book. The little tulip symbol indicated I was in the close-up mode. Finally can get those close-ups of Jaguar repairs I want to show.

In my camera bag I have 3 Nikons F1, D1 & 5700 and 2 Cannon point and shoot Power Shot. Most all of my photos on my auto repair pages are from the point & shoot.

Default Hummer

I don't have my car yet.It should be here in a couple days(2004 XJR)Until then here is a shot of a hummingbird.Nikon d300/crappy telephoto lens/4 flash units via rf trigger (set to fastest speed)/camera set to 200th/f11.I always tried to capture the critters with fast shutter....until i read it's done with fast lights.
Take care,Dave

Nice background and contrast...did you shoot with a ND filter to enhance the sky?

Default Couple of shots from the weekend.

Here are some Jag images I took at RACQ Motorfest in Brisbane, Australia.

There was a good collection of cars, all shapes and sizes.
Of course, the Jags were the highlight.

Enjoy.
