Up for sale is my 1986, XJS Coupe. Reluctantly selling. Has approximately 90k on the clock. Meticulously maintained, everything works. Many recent items to include battery, shocks, hood struts, tires, tint top windshield. Exhaust cleared from top of down pipes to back resonators (down pipe honeycomb removed, cats emptied, mid mufflers removed) "H" pipe installed. Trans Go shift kit, hold first through any RPM. "Growler" air cleaners. comes with extra parts, set of non rebuilt heads, spares. Runs consistently below the "N" never overheated. Great car if your looking to get into a V-12 Jaguar. It's an old cliche, but...too much to list. Original paint but not perfect. $5500, Jacksonville Florida area. Recent pics...ODO says 60k, Jaguar dealer cert sticker on door jamb, ODO replaced at 30k in 1989 (aka 90)

I've had inquiries as to how the car weathered the hurricane, no issues at house/car/garage. Took the car out today, runs like a top everything still in excellent working order. Also had an inquiry as to its ability to make a long trip, I can foresee no issue with driving cross country in this car. As always YMMV!😉

That is a very clean looking car... Just bought an 85 V8 swap... yours would be a lot cheaper I think than that, once we do the work. bargain.

I am in Jax as well, do you have any shops you recommend for brakes, suspension work?

 

That is a gorgeous car. Looks like it just came off the show room floor. A fantastic bargain by all accounts. Only mod's (upgrades) I can detect are: removal of air pump system; Growler "Quick Cat" air intakes; sports steering wheel; wiper motor (wipers point opposite of original style in '86).
Guessing your exhaust work along with the Growler intakes really opened up the breathing.
