2005 XK8 4.2 Coupe, Silver, 111K, 12 months MOT
Unable to resist the temptation of a 5L XKR my XK8 (Nessie) is available for sale.
Work done over the last couple of years which addresses many of the usual issues with XK8's:
Transmission fluid changed, all plug coil packs replaced with new uprated ones, all spark plugs replaced, the octopus hose to rear of engine replaced,
front lower control arms replaced, brake pedal switch replaced, AC flush and refrigerant changed. Serpentine belt changed. Rear offside wheel
arch replaced (rusty). Passenger floor pan rust fixed. All chrome wheel trims replaced.
Nessie has been looked after with care in recent years by a very experienced local independent. She starts, drives, steers straight and stops just fine, is
mechanically sound and was the first XK8 to produce a good power/torque graph on her very first run at the last XK Enthusiasts Club rolling road
day at Viezu Technologies (Paramount) producing a very creditable 225 BHP at the rear wheels on their extremely conservative rolling road.
The Lambda sensors are good, MAF sensor is good, battery good, there are no diagnostic codes showing. Discs and pads are all good.
She will be a credit to her new owner.

Fair disclosure - there are some minor areas of work needed and due to upcoming work commitments I will not be able to do them myself so I have set a reduced price to compensate.
There is a little rust bubbling on the nearside rear arch, a little road rash nearside front from a salting wagon, other road rash consistent with age. There is an occasional 'clunk’ from offside rear, the MOT advisories comments on some wear in the roll bar bushes which may be the cause.
