FS[Western US]: XJ spring compressor

Here is a close up of each end of the threaded rod. No t bar I believe that is what the Ve shaped block does and has two positions on the threaded rod for the split collar and retainer to locate on.

Info...
What model XJ is this for- S1/2/3 or the XJ40/X300/X308???
The earlier cars need that T at the top- there's no room with the crossmember installed in the car to use those collars/retainers, so maybe this is for later cars?
Thanks

XJ Spring Compressor
The spring compressor is shown in the XJ6 series1 manual @ http://jaguar-daimler.cz/manualy/XJ-...vy-%20kola.pdf. as Churchill Tool No. J.D.6d. with adaptor JD 6D-1. I used it on my 1976 XJ12 and a friend on his 1979 XJS. The tool was made in the late 80's. To the best of my knowledge it's for earlier cars. Thanks for asking Mike

A beautifully engineered piece of work. Looks more substantial than the OE Jaguar (Churchill) tool.
