Default OBD2

Hi Everyone,
So far my 2001 V6 S has performed superbly since buying it 7 months ago. I have fixed the awkward problems it had with the door handle and non-winding windows which is probably why it was so cheap at $3000.
I connected a scanner to the OBD2 port and downloaded torque (lite) for my samsung phone and it works fine but seems very limited with its info.
Can anyone recommend a pay for version of software that is really comprehensive and worth having?
Thank-you in advance and many thanks again (especially Karl) for the assistance in the past.
Cheers, Steve.

I have the BT version of OBDLink MX and it works very well. ($45)

Two criticisms of it though...
- When trying to see WOT wideband A/F on my S-Type it freezes. As soon as I get off of WOT it starts reading normally. I'm not sure if that's due to the cars output signal or due to OBDLink.
- The BT version has noticeable latency. I'm using a Samsung S8 so I don't think its my phone. Its a good tool for the cost but if you want real time numbers get the WiFi version
- Changing to number only readout is quickest. And making custom gauges is slowest. (my ph is fast so I'm not sure why its slower on gauge display)

Overall its a very good tool, works on many different cars, and has good value.

It's probably not what the OP wants.

More likely, SDD/IDS or an iCarSoft or the like.

(There not being a software-only tool as requested.)

if you want a handheld stand alone unit look into the icarsoft line...I have an i930 model specific for jaguars...accesses all modules and is about 150ish on ebay...just make sure you get the model specific...my unit will work on many jaguars from 1999 to about 2014...it also has generic obd2 functions for all obd2 vehicles and has free updates...forgot to add the unit has an extensive code troubleshooting help area and you can switch it to graphing mode for a more detailed look at any given parameter...it also fits in the palm of your hand
