2001 wont start after removing door panel
Hi, i just took the drivers door panel off my 2001 3.0 S-type, disconnecting a white and a blue connector in there from the window buttons and the speakers so i could fully remove it. (this was to get to the window mechanism which has broken). I then plugged them back in, windows working again, put the door panel back on, and now the car wont start. The dash lights come on, and the red light on top of the dash by the window flashes, and nothing electrical in the car works now, not even the windows, which did 10 minutes ago.
ive taken the door panel back off now to make sure i hadnt disconnected something whilst putting it back together, but it all seems fine.
is this some kind of anti-theft prgram that has kicked in? i havent even disconnected the battery or touched anything else other than in the door.
The doors wont even lock now using the fob. Whats happened?

the car did give a few chirps of the alarm, but i stopped that with the fob before alarm really went off.
I've also read somewhere that the flashign red light gives a code after 1 minute, (such as 1 flash and then 6 flashes meaning a code 16), but it just seemed to flash consistently slowly and i gave up counting at 20 flashes.
also, when i turn the ignition, all the lights which were on in the dash turn off except fot the drivers airbag light, and even the fuel gauge goes down to 0 too.
I'll give it a go charging the battery overnight...
