Question A/C Not Blowing Cold After....

2002 S-Type 4.0.

Changed valve cover gaskets, unplugged a few harnesses on the drivers side and re-plugged after gaskets replace. After gasket replacement completed ther following became an issue.

The A/C compressor under the hood clicks on when the A/C is turn on inside the car but the vents inside the car blows hot air. A/C freon check indicates system has freon. The A/C system was replaced in 2013.

Don't know what happened. Tried replugging the harnesses under the hood, still has the issue. Seems to be the heater door if one exist is not opening and closing. This is only a guess.

Is the issue not related to the valve cover gasket change?
Do the harnesses on the drivers side of the engine just above the valve cover have anything to do with the A/C system?
Did I fail to re-connect a vacuum line? (dont see one disconnected unless I'm over looking it)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to S-Type forum.

Members here with the same model will be able to help you troubleshoot this issue.

Need more help here??

Is the A/C compressor turning? I don't know what it means when it clicks?

Compressor not turning = No A/C

The system having Freon is meaningless. Does it have the CORRECT amount of refrigerant? Do you have any idea?

Please post your high and low side system pressures.

When you say the A/C system was replaced. We need to know what was replaced and how much Freon they put in.

Sorry, should have been much clearer in my post and i appreciate your reply.

The A/C compressor is running, the clutch is engaged and the compressor is not cycling.
The a/c compressor was replaced, the dryer was replaced, the belt was replaced.

I can see the a/c clutch turning when the a/c is turned on and it is not engaging and disengaging.

Prior to the gasket change the A/C was blowing cold and the system was working properly.
Currently I do not know the ac line pressures. I do not have the gauges handy at the moment.

I did find a 10 amp fuse blown under the hood in the fuse box and replaced it. Replacement of this fuse did not appear to help.
