S-Type Floormats
Hey y'all:
I've been searching around the forum looking for floor mats that I like. I've cruised Ebay, as many have suggested, and I don't see anything that looks quality.
I finally found this thread:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...3D-fail-55933/
where they discuss (at the bottom) these floormats (thumbnail below)
Does anyone know if these are available anywhere for the S-Type? And alternatively, do you know of something high-quality like this, in an inclement weather mat, like these, for the S-Type?

I've done a little floor mat research for the s type. I bought my car with factory cloth floor mats. They look good, match the carpeting, but leave the left foot, footrest exposed. That is, the mat does not cover the foot rest.
So I searched for a floormat that would also cover the footrest. The best I could come up with are the Kraco (Polly wants a Kraco, CB!) mats at Walmart. They are about $34 for a set of 4. What is nice about these mats is that there is a matrix on the left of the drivers mat, that could easily take a single cut to make the mat fit the footrest.
I was about to buy these mats until I realize that they look too tough. Too utilitarian. Too truck like. So instead, Walmart was selling a pre-cut piece of diamond-plate patterned sheet rubber. This rubber piece is about 15 inches long and about 5 inches wide. Its about $5. It is sold to be put on the top of truck bumpers, so that they are not slippery. The rubber piece is flexible and has a self-stick backing, where you just peel off the paper and stick it to the bumper.
So my idea is that I will just cut the rubber piece with scissors, short enough to make a piece that covers the footrest, stick it there, and I will keep the cloth floormats.
You can get the kraco mats and the rubber bumper piece in other stores, I just saw them both at Walmart.
Here's what the Kraco mat looks like. Not very Jaggish.

And here's the rubber piece.

Front Set: XR852000 $82
Rear Set: XR851998 $41
These might be discontinued as some online dealers did not have them.
I believe the cloth set of 4 is about $67 at gaudingjaguarparts.com
