Default First many thanks

Firstly i would like to thank buckMR2 and androulakis for the work on this .
But although it works when i try to search it is saying not connected to internet has anybody sorted this. Or it could be the search is only to find what dealer has it in that case it would not work.

I think the internet connection is only for dealers. The JEPC was never meant to be used by the public.

There are many updated part numbers that we can't get access to but it's still very useful the way it is.

Default Replacing the default S-Type pic with one of your own

Apologies if someone already covered this...

You can change the S-Type pic to one of your own chosing (perhaps of your own car), simply by doing the following:

1) Exit out of JEPC.
2) Take a photo of your car and resize it to 400x300. Name it "1004new.jpg" - no quotes.
3) Then copy it into the "C:\JEPC\applications\JEPC\images" folder.
4) Now find the pic in that folder named "1004.jpg" and rename it to "1004old.jpg".
5) Finally, rename "1004New.jpg" to "1004.jpg".
6) Now start the JEPC program, click on S-Type and BAM! If you did this right you will see your car rather than the default S-Type pic.

NOTE: If you want to return to the default S-Type pic, reverse the steps by renaming "1004.jpg" to "1004New.jpg" and then rename "1004old.jpg" to "1004.jpg". Good luck!

Hello,

I solved the problem with displaying the images!

You need this:
Adobe Flash Player ActiveX

Download the Windows Flash Player 13 ActiveX control content debugger (for IE)

http://download.macromedia.com/pub/f...3_ax_debug.exe

Greetings!

Default JEPC login

Hi,

Thanks so much for this!

Everything went fine except that I get 'authentication failed' when trying to log in. I know this is an old post and hope you are still there !! Any ideas?

Thanks much,

Boog

Hi,

Thanks for the link - you have obviously gone to a lot of trouble to make it available to other enthusiasts - works like a charm - much appreciated

The "supersession" feature doesn't work in my install - is that normal, or have I got something wrong?

Alternately, any way to find out if two different p/n are interchangeable? ie one works for the other, even in a different VIN

Also joining in the thanks for this catalog, very handy.
