Steering Wheel Alignment

Steering Wheel Alignment
OK.
Got the 03 STR back this week. AC Compressor replacement, and Spark Plugs/Valve cover gasket replacement.
The AC compressor replacement required dropping the steering rack, removing the engine mount and raising the engine. Now the steering wheel is not perfectly centered when driving down a straight road, it's off to the right maybe 5-8 degrees. The car tracks nicely and nothing else is wrong except the darn steering wheel is just leaning ever so slightly to the right! I told the mechanic about this and he said that's what happens when the engine mounts and steering rack is dropped. He said the alignment is what it was before, (just aligned 2 months ago when new tires and rims were fitted) he could center it again but it would take another $80 front end alignment.
Is there a simple adjustment to tweek the wheel back to center?
Thanks,
Cheers.
Bob

Bob, the mechanic may have unbolted the steering coupler down by the rack, should have been done according to alldatas procedure for raising the motor. The mechanic when reconnecting did not get the rod matched up, fairly easy to fix if thats what happened and the belly pan is off.

Yep,
that's what I was thinking looking at the proceedure from the .pdf.
I dont think they removed the belly pan, but I was not there supervising the repair, (they would charge double for that!) I think they got at everything from the left front tire well. I think you can access this steering link from there.
Might have been put back together off one spline?
Loosen, go back one click and tighten?
Could be worth a try.
Thanks,
Bob
