Default Heated seats, wiring diagram

I am looking for information on how to wire the aftermarket seats to the OEM switch.
I have already added the heating element to both front seats, and have them working. I also have the factory switch panel which includes heated seats.
Can anybody help?
The car has 35k. It has every option except heated seats.
Thanks
Frank

So I see some 19 people have seen my question. Thank you all for considering it. I have found a cd on Ebay which is the same repair manual they use at the Dealer. It should be a big help. It is coming direct from England via the Royal Post. It only cost $12. with shipping. (After converting from lbs)
I thought others might be interested.
If you cut and paste this title in the bay search window you can see what it is like.
JAGUAR S TYPE WORKSHOP SERVICE REPAIR MANUAL - X200 2003 ... (160782338659)
There are others for other models, years.
thanks

Hello Captain Frank. Maybe the 19 readers wanted to read your whole thread but do not have a sensible answer to your question. After many years of being here I believe that this is the first time someone wanted to add aftermarket seat heaters with using the factory butttons. You are correct in getting the JTIS disk.

Please post back once you get the heaters working as maybe it will help a member down the road.

Also please stop by the "New Member" area and introduce yourself per forum requirements. It will aid you in becoming a full member with access to more information on this site.

Good luck with your project.

Thanks Joyce's Jag,
I will do both. Appreciate the note.
I did assume no one had a good answer, hence no suggestions. My other cars
are all Caddies and I participate in that form. It has always been a big
help. I have no doubt this forum will be the same.
This is the second cd I purchased. The first would not run on my Mac.( My
fault for not reading the fine print) but it would not run on the pc at
work either. And the metallic finish started to fall off. I only recently
found the second cd, on E bay. I have cd versions of the repair manual for
both the other cars. VERY helpful.

Frank;
Just to let you know. The factory repair book is called the JTIS.

It is available for a free download from this site. So if you have problems with the disc you might try that.

My $10 EBay disc works just fine.

Also consider getting the JEPC (Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog). This is the exact same parts software the dealer uses. It has a LOT more exploded diagrams to help figure stuff out. But beware the dealers have this networked so they can get updates and ask questions that we cannot do.

So there are some errors in the JEPC for us DIY guys. It is also available on this site. Just verify what you find on the JEPC with your parts guy before ordering.

We have some wonderful dealers out there!! I use Dan at Nalley Jaguar for my parts and he is great!!

Hi clubairth1,
Thanks for the info. I did not know the manual was available on site. I really appreciate the tip about the parts guy.
