Default Some interesting S Types for sale in my area..

Browsing Autotrader during lunch... Found some interesting S's for sale...

Here is a V6 with the very rare sport aluminum interior trim.. Miles are getting up there, but not bad for an 05...

Here is what looks like a bargain from a Honda dealer.. Please, UK members, excuse the cheesy text in the add... What do you expect from a Japanese car dealer in the US....
I wonder if the paint all matches.... Hmmmmmmm

Lastly... "where were you, beautiful, when I was shopping for mine?"

Jeff, I haven't laughed so much in ages, still crying.

Why, the cheesy text in the Honda Dealer ad.

Quote "You will need this when you go cursing down the road in this Jaguar".

Oh yeh!!!!!

The red one has been at that dealer for quite some time. They'll take $18K. I almost went out to look at it in person till I found a better one. I have a ton of pictures on it and it appears to be pretty decent but it does have an accident report which is listed as minor I think. So obviouslt you have to see it first and pray for the Jag dealer to do a decent PPI. Mine didn't. It's also a hard area to fly into for an inspection. Airline tickets are expensive unless you fly into Pittsburg and drive from there.

22K for the Zircon one? That's being a tad optimistic at the least. More like 15K I would think.

For a little more then your 15K get this one. And then get the drivers seat either detailed bad or redone and you are still under 22k and you got an R.

Actually their "asking" price is pretty dead on for this area. Yea, it's an 05, but it is a premium package 4.2 V8... Notice the piped leather and burl walnut trim? They are a Jaguar dealer, so that has something to do with it as well. I'm guessing you could get it for around 20k with a warranty. There are 4 S Types for sale at my dealership and the lowest asking price is 19 for a 06 3.0 with over 40k on it. The prices around here have really gone up.

The red R is the one that really peaked my curiosity..It's the one year of the refreshed body that has the Brembo brakes and the body color trunk trim.... like Staatsof said, they've had that car for a while. It is like it missed on the price jump over the past year or so. I really am curious...

It's got 77K miles though. For a couple grand more the red one is only at 30-35K miles.

Yea, it is pretty, but it does have 77k on it. The 4.2 is at a Jag dealer with only around 36k...

When I talked with them they needed to touch up the front bumper where they had hit one of those lovely parking lot stops on their lot. That was included for the 18K. It has a bit of curb rash on one wheel. It has the special cruise control. No bluetooth or phone though. Those are new tires but they have a very bad reputation. Riken Raptors.

I ended up with a different car because of lower mileage and the one I got had a year of select edition warranty left. But that's the funny part. The dealer who sold the car to me didn't even know that. So ... check it out first. Maybe this one's got some warranty on it too. I've seen select edition cars that also had an accident report. Not all accidents are big deals but you do have to check them out first. If everything is OK on the car and it has some warranty left $18K is a hell of a lot of car for the money. Mine was too!
Good luck.
