Default No-Ox salve 2007 S-Type R

2007 S-Type R 64km (Radiance Red)

Today I used a No-OX salve for the majority of my electrical connectors that I could get to without a lift. This process included the fuses and relays in the engine bay and the boot/trunk. Low and behold the Battery ground/earth cable needed to be replaced because the previous individual had installed the negative post connector in such a way as to destroy the clinching ability of the post connector. It seems as though the dodgy fuel gauge problem is gone. Also used a special Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner and replaced its O-ring. Now it seems as though the code for lean fuel on bank 1 & 2 is not cropping up.

You have a very rare car!

Not many 2007 STR's were made. You got VVT on the engine too.

Default VVT ?

Thank you for the feedback. Please enlighten me as to the acronym VVT.

VVT-Variable Valve Timing. Allows the electronics to advance and retard the timing on the cams while the engine is running.

Used to get more power but on the STR we have been told it was for emissions reasons only. Some people claim it adds a bit more power to.

Not many that colour, either. I tried to buy one but I wanted cream (or similar) leather which it didn't have.

2007 Jaguar S-Type R (Radiance Red Metallic) has a great deal of Panache.
I removed all of the exterior R badging and replaced the OEM (R) shift knob with a knob made in Canada from Maple.
