Default Maps DVD......

I'll take a copy of the latest if possible. I have a 2003 S Type R Supercharged with the 2001 version on it. The previous owner/s never updated it.

Download and burn to a dvd-9 using imageburn at a speed of x4. Insert into dvd nav system and it will automatically update. Probably best to hook up a charger to the battery cause it can take sometime. As always the risk of updating firmware is yours

Default DVD Map........

I burned it at 4x and used ImgBurn. I allowed it to verify at the end and it said ok. When I put it in the unit it come up saying "Not a Map DVD"... Any idea what I may have done wrong? The only other thing is that I used a DVD+R DL instead of a DVD-R DL. No one had the -R, I even drove 40+ miles away looking.

Default Map DVD

I finally was able to get the DVD-R DL. I had to special order them. I used ImgBurn to copy it to the DVD at 4X and I allowed it to verify at finalization. I put it in my car and it comes up saying it's not a Map DVD. So, I put the original one from my car into my computer to compare it with the one you gave me and the only thing I come up with is that it isn't compatible with my car. My car is a 2003 S Type R, the system Map DVD with it is a 2001 GPS disc. I believe the Jaguar site for the Denso DVD limits it to a certain year as for the upgrade so I figure maybe this one you gave me is too new and is not compatible. I honestly don't know. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The only thing I can think of is that either

a) It has not been finalised as Book type DVD-Rom
b) The laser in the dvd unit needs adjusting

Apart from that I am as lost as you.

Oooppps Hang on...... I have just noticed that you are in Georgia USA correct, this dvd is only for Europe so maybe this is why it doesn't work. I will change the title so no more confusion for outside of Europe peeps

I guess that 2012 is the last year for updates?

Looks like the end of the line for this NAV system.

No update problems for Australia. Whereis released the latest update DVD last month and I updated my system without difficulty (Was previously still on the original 2005 version)
Is pricey though at AUD$195. (About US$140)
