Default ABS module Replacement == More problems

My ABS and DSC light came on recently, and I went to dealer to get codes read
So I bought a used ABS Module from s type being parted out, so I didnt have to spend the $2400 from the dealer for the part.

So Dealer installed it, but now the DSC light is on and car is bucking and they said now the Instrument pack is shorted and needs to also be replaced.

So I did some research and the dealer insisted that i get another module so we could be sure the original part was good, which I did, and same probelm again.

So now after even more reasearch the dealer found the ABS modules are car specific, meaning once thier programmed they might not be able to be re programmed for another car.
They are in the process now of trying to re program the ABS module to my car. they said up 99/2000 models this always works.

Anyone know about this?
I am trying to keep this as cheap as possible, as all my money has gone to , well you name a problem this car could have...

I appreciate any help,

When you say bucking,do you mean the brakes are grabbing?
