Default Windshield Washer Problem.

For some reason my winshield washers (jets on the hood) stopped shooting out cleaner. I checked the fluid container and refilled it and when I press the button I can hear the sound of the motor.... But no fluid.

Any tips on how to check the system or advice much appreciated.

Thanks

Your lines are clogged. Compressed air my be your friend here, first try at the squirters on the hood then work towards the pump until you are squirting the ole' blue juice again.

I haven't looked at the S Type setup, but I've had problems with the small check valves on the lines in other vehicles. May be worth looking into as well.

Again, Not an S Type, but had the same thing happen to the 300... Check and follow the lines and look for the fluid going anywhere else.. Mine had a line come loose under the hood liner. Hooked it back up... and all has been good....

I once had the same problem, it turned out one of the lines got detached from the nozzle under the hood liner. Open the hood and try the washers to see if water comes out.

Hope it's not "gunge" (soggy mess / coagulated mess / etc) in the tank that's blocking the pump / pipe. Access to the tank is awkward.

Yup, check the lines. The one on my truck used to blow off every other time I used them... till I "fixed" it, it don't come off anymore.
