I have just received an email regarding Autoglym's event team - unfortunately they are now unable to attend our event due to an unexpected and unavoidable change in circumstances... they are hoping to make our 2018 event though.

We now have an open slot available - if anyone knows of any companies that may be interested in filling this slot please get in touch.

Welcome to the 2017 Annual Convoy & Meet Event

This FREE event will be taking place on Sunday 28th May 2017 - with the main venue being Denbies Wine Estate, near Dorking.

It is a Jaguar EXCLUSIVE event! This year things are set to be even bigger and better than ever before with more cars (we now have a ceiling of 300 vehicles), more sponsors (with some able to perform work on site for you!), more prizes to be won on the day, and our annual award of the prestigeous 'JaguarForums.com Best Turned Out Jaguar' award up for grabs again PLUS the new award of 'Peoples Choice'!

The initial meeting point will be Pease Pottage Services with a quick Welcome speech and your free Welcome Packs handed out.

There will then be a convoy through winding country roads, with gorgeous scenery, from Pease Pottage to our new venue at Denbies Wine Estate. It will be the first time these roads will have ever seen this number of Jaguars passing through, and will set the tone for our arrival at Denbies, where we will have a grassed, enclosed area set aside exclusively for us for the day.

Denbies will be laying on a breakfast for us upon arrival. The options being: Full English breakfast with Tea or Coffee & Orange juice £8.25, a Bacon or Sausage Buttie £3.50, and a Bacon or Sausage Buttie with Egg £4.75. Please note that there will also be 10% discount vouchers available to attendees to reduce these prices :-)

As you know we like to try to work with our sponsors to keep your Jaguar costs low... and we are pleased to say we have arranged the following discount codes (so far) for event attendees, which will be active from now until our event:

Prestige Car Care is offering all attendees a 10% discount on their entire product range which includes some superb car cleaning products - to take advantage of this great offer go to Featured Products - Prestige Car Care Shop and use the checkout code 'jags' to get your event attendee discount!

Scratchshield.co.uk can help you keep your car scratch free for our event with a huge 25% discount using the checkout code ' JAGBRI16/17'

Additionally, following on from last year, we have the FREE service for attendees - the 'Don't Miss a Thing' texting service :-) If you drop me a line with your name & mobile number before the day we will ensure that you get a text just before any event on the day, such as banner signing, prize draws, winners of judged contests etc.. just drop a line to JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk if you would like to guarantee you miss nothing on the day..

Plus, if you want to make a weekend of it, we have teamed up with HolidayInn Express in Crawley and have a fixed discounted rate of £65 a night for attendees, plus guaranteed availability of rooms for us :-) please see their details below, or follow this link HolidayInn Express Crawley. Just remember to quote that you are with the 'JaguarForums.com' event to get guaranteed availability and the fixed discounted rate of £65 a night.

If you would like to sign up for this event please just pop a post on the thread inc how many will likely be coming, and car details, and I will add you in. If you prefer, you are also very welcome to sign up by dropping a line to JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk :-)

As you know, every year our event has something new for you :-) Well this year we have a fantastic opportunity for you....

I have confirmed everything and I am pleased to be able to announce the following 'once in a lifetime' opportunity to you guys...

Dinitrol are one of our great event sponsors, offering a complete DIY corrossion treatment and protection kit for your Jaguar, on the day of our event.

Dinitrol are looking for a classic Jaguar available to be displayed on their DINITROL stand for four days at the Automechanika event this year - in exchange you will be able to take your Jaguar to one of their treatment centres for a full rustproofing treatment. This is an opportunity for your Jaguar to become not only known and publicised but also guaranteed rust free for some years to come.

Please note they are not looking for a modern or new Jaguar, but a Classic Jaguar :-)

If your Jaguar is a classic, and you would like to take advantage of this 'once in a lifetime' offer please drop me an email at JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk and I will forward your details on to Dinitrol.

Just a quick update for you - it has been a busy few days here regarding our event.

We have the once in a lifetime opportunity for your Jaguar to be on display at a huge show for 4 days and to receive a full rustproofing treatment, I am in negotiations with a new potential sponsor/industry attendee, and am also close to announcing another award for the day which will involve another fantastic prize..

More info on all this to come as I go :-)

It has been a busy week here regarding our event!

As you will be aware the Autoglym Events Team will now unfortunately be unable to make our event, so I am currently following up a lead regarding another company in the same field that may be able to attend.

I am in early discussions regarding a third award on the day for us, involving an incredible prize for your Jaguar.

A few people are starting to get in touch via email regarding our event so I am hoping that our advertising is starting to pay off.

Our list of prizes has been growing in quantity and value, and we now have so much more than ever before for you to win either in our main prize draw, the Dinitrol draw, our 'Best Turned Out Jag' award or our 'Peoples Choice' award.

Despite all the growth and development of our event we have managed to keep the event free to sign up for and attend, the awards also free, as is the Dinitrol prize draw with just a small charge for tickets for the main prize draw on the day.

For those of you interested in the figures to-date:

Our forum threads have amassed almost 36,000 hits to-date
Our Facebook page has growing interest in it and now has 216 friends
Our Twitter feed now has 374 followers
We have 19 sponsors currently with 5 of them setting up trade stands on site
We have 82 cars currently spanning 63 years of Jaguar production

We have even been approached by Dinitrol with a great opportunity for an attendees Jaguar with a free full rust treatment in exchange at one of their centres..

Our event is set to be the largest, and best it has ever been for this year, 2017 - if you haven't signed up yet you risk missing out on a fantastic day out :-) and it's FREE

It's Friday and almost the weekend!

As of this weekend we will be just two months from our Annual Jaguar Convoy & Meet event and already we have an event to be proud of, celebrating the gorgeous marque we love, which is Jaguar.

I am still working on some last minute additions to our event but currently we have:

Bigger free Welcome Packs than ever before.
The most scenic Convoy element to-date with both a regular and advanced route available for the first time ever.
An incredible venue in the largest Wine Estate in England - Denbies Wine Estate.
Three times the venue capacity we have had to-date.
More Industry sponsors than ever.
Harwoods Jaguar offering full dealership support onsite
Five, maybe Six trade stands onsite with great advice and deals for you.
Product demonstrations through the day.
A Judged award for 'Best Turned Out Jag'.
A voted for award for 'Peoples Choice'.
A prize draw offering you the chance at a huge number of superb Jaguar goodies (there will be a small charge for tickets for this)
An additional free prize draw for a Dinitrol DIY Corrosion treatment and prevention Kit

PLUS our events are always great social events with photo shoots, banner signing and this year Wine Estate Tours, Wine Tastings, two restaurants onsite, and award winning wines for sale to take home (noting Denbies charge for tours, tastings, food & drink - there is a guide to their pricing in the Welcome Pack)

And we will have CarSnapped onsite as our official event photographer. If you have ever wanted a professional photo shoot of your Jaguar, or maybe just a great shot to put up on the wall at home, or want a great professional shot to remember your day with us CarSnapped offers great rates on everything from a photo jpeg through to a large mounted print. So please take advantage of him at our event :-)

We are aiming for 200 Jaguars this year so please, if you have not signed your Jaguar up for this great free day out yet please sign up!! Help us achieve our target and join in this great Jaguar day out for all the family :-)

Just a reminder of our itinerary for the day :-)

Itinerary for our Annual Jaguar Convoy & Meet (2017)

9:30am Starting point of event at Pease Pottage Services for event registration, with Welcome Packs handed out, and Welcome speech.

10:15am Depart for our main venue, Denbies Wine Estate.

11:00am Our Jaguars should be parking up, and everyone heading off for breakfast, noting the costs are listed in the main forum thread.

2:30pm Main Prize draw for a number of great Jaguar orientated prizes, noting there will be a small charge for tickets for this.

3:00pm A second free Prize Draw for a Dinitrol Corrosion Treatment and Protection Pack for your Jaguar.

3:15pm Presentation of the judged award for the 'Best Turned Out Jag - 2017', & the voted for 'Peoples Choice' award.

3:30pm Group photo shoots and final summary speech prior to the end of our day.

Please note that in addition to socialising, checking over our Jaguars and meeting the companies joining us on the day, Denbies are also laying on tours of the wine estate, and wine tasting experiences for us. These additional features will be charged for by Denbies, but do represent a great chance to learn about this, the largest wine estate in England, and their award winning wines.

Just a quick note of credit to Mark Lambourne - one of our repeat attendees - for supplying the lead to Croftgate UK who weill be taking over the trade stand slot that Autoglym were unable to fill due to unforeseen circumstances. Additionally Croftgate UK have generously agreed to supply a 10% discount on their entire product range and have setup a landing page exclusively for us. Huge thanks to Mark for the lead and to Croftgate for their support of our event :-)
