Welcome to the 2017 Annual Convoy & Meet Event

This event will be taking place on Sunday 28th May 2017 - with the main venue being Denbies Wine Estate, near Dorking.

It is a Jaguar EXCLUSIVE event! This year things are set to be even bigger and better than ever before with hopefully more cars (we now have a ceiling of 400 vehicles), more sponsors, more prizes to be won on the day, and our annual award of the 'JaguarForums.com Best Turned Out Jaguar' award up for grabs again!

The initial meeting point will be Pease Pottage Services with a quick Welcome speech and your free Welcome Packs handed out.

There will then be a convoy through winding country roads, with gorgeous scenery, from Pease Pottage to our new venue at Denbies Wine Estate. It will be the first time these roads will have ever seen this number of Jaguars passing through, and will set the mood for our arrival at Denbies, where we will have a grassed, enclosed area set aside exclusively for us for the day.

OK, I am off for a week as of tonight so it is probably a good time for a summary of where we are so far..

We are in final negotiations with a potential sponsor that supplies a great service that we all need on a regular basis with our Jag's. Our Twitter feed has been attracting more followers which is fantastic, as has our Facebook page. I am now just waiting on some final pricing etc on our breakfast deals for the day, and I have been busy trying to track down some of the more unique, rare or unusual Jaguars that are out there..

Obviously as everything comes in I will let you know, but am quite hopeful on a number of fronts :-)

Welcome to the 2017 Annual Convoy & Meet Event

This event will be taking place on Sunday 28th May 2017 - with the main venue being Denbies Wine Estate, near Dorking.

It is a Jaguar EXCLUSIVE event! This year things are set to be even bigger and better than ever before with hopefully more cars (we now have a ceiling of 400 vehicles), more sponsors, more prizes to be won on the day, and our annual award of the 'JaguarForums.com Best Turned Out Jaguar' award up for grabs again!

The initial meeting point will be Pease Pottage Services with a quick Welcome speech and your free Welcome Packs handed out.

There will then be a convoy through winding country roads, with gorgeous scenery, from Pease Pottage to our new venue at Denbies Wine Estate. It will be the first time these roads will have ever seen this number of Jaguars passing through, and will set the mood for our arrival at Denbies, where we will have a grassed, enclosed area set aside exclusively for us for the day.

Denbies will be laying on a breakfast for us upon arrival. The options being: Full English breakfast with Tea or Coffee & Orange juice £8.25, a Bacon or Sausage Buttie £3.50, and a Bacon or Sausage Buttie with Egg £4.75. Please note that there will also be 10% discount vouchers available to attendees to reduce these prices :-)

OK guys I am happy to be able to tell you that it is now confirmed that despite the change in venue, we have managed to retain Tony as our contact and onsite representative for Harwoods Jaguar.

He will be attending with two or more showroom models for us on the day.

Additionally Michael from the Leather Repair Company will be joining us for the first time to meet everyone, and advise on any and all leather issues you may have with your Jaguar.

We are doing really well so far:

Our forum threads have received over 6,500 hits
Our Twitter following has risen to 184 followers
We now have 11 event sponsors inc some big names
We have retained our accomodation partner making it easy to make a weekend of our event
We have 2 Officlal Advertising Partners
We have 3 Industry attendees - and we are hoping to have permission for them to set up stands making it easy for attendees to locate them

And finally we have an incredible 33 Jaguars and 56 people signed up already.

We still have a long way to go to reach the anticipated 200 Jaguars, and for the forum threads to exceed the 100,000 hits our last events' threads received.
But.. I am on the case :-)

Hi guys,

Just a quick update but it is more good news for us :-)

I am off on a road trip next week, so am trying to get things tidy before I leave things to look after theirselves for a few days..

Fortunately I have just had a response back that I was looking for, for us :-)

Denbies have approved the setting up of stands or gazebos in our area on the day :-)

Which means that industry attendees will be easy to locate, and meet, from this event onwards..

I hope that our move to Denbies Wine Estate, the increased ceiling in vehicle numbers, and now the ability to get sponsors set up so they are visible and easy to locate has answered the majority of the issues we were all so aware of at Madiera Drive.

And just to let you know I am still currently in discussions with a number of potential new sponsors for our event, and have been and still am, working hard to locate unusual and rare Jaguars that we can hopefully persuade to come along and meet us :-)

I will be popping up a pre road trip summary for you guys later today or tomorrow so you can see how we are doing.. but to be honest, so far we are doing really well, and are on target for the aim of 200 or so Jaguars for the day, with more sponsors, & more genuinely available onsite industry attendees! Plus more prizes, and from this year forward a cup to win for the prestigeous 'JaguarForums.com Best Turned Out Jag' award!! And even more... on top of this we have the option of estate tours, wine tasting, not one but 2 restaurants onsite, PLUS photo shoots of our cars, banner signing and so much more :-)

 

Just a very quick update - The Leather Repair Company have confirmed they will be setting up a stand for the day, ensuring you can locate them for advice on all your leather issues on the day :-)

Our Twitter account is growing and now has 193 followers
We have 11 event sponsors including some big names
We have three sponsors who will be onsite for you
We have one sponsor already signed up to have a stand on site
Harwoods will being a minimum of two showroom cars for you to check out
We have 62 years of Jaguar production already signed up
We have 37 cars and 62 people signed up to attend

We are bang on target for the biggest Convoy & meet to-date - thankyou so much to everyone who has got involved with, and behind our event. We have a great new venue in Denbies Wine Estate, with a new limit of 400 vehicles. Our onsite industry attendees are already being asked if they would like to set up stands to make it easier for you to locate them.. and I am actively hunting for rare and unsual Jaguars to join us.

There is a lot going on regarding our event, even though we have some months to go. If you would like to attend our free event please pop a post on any of our forum threads, or or facebook page, or tweet us on our twitter feed and I will get you added in to, what promises to be the biggest and best event we have run so far.

Remember, we have a convoy element, an off the road main meet, sponsors on site to meet you, a prize draw for some great prizes, photo shoots, socialising and networking, a great breakfast deal and food available through the day from the restaurants onsite, wine tastings, estate tours, great wine for sale, a cup to be won by the best turned out Jag, Banner signing for posterity, and so so much more!!

 

Welcome to the 2017 Annual Convoy & Meet Event

I am just back from my family holiday and catching up so please bear with me .. meanwhile here is the latst on our event:

This event will be taking place on Sunday 28th May 2017 - with the main venue being Denbies Wine Estate, near Dorking.

It is a Jaguar EXCLUSIVE event! This year things are set to be even bigger and better than ever before with hopefully more cars (we now have a ceiling of 400 vehicles), more sponsors, more prizes to be won on the day, and our annual award of the 'JaguarForums.com Best Turned Out Jaguar' award up for grabs again!

The initial meeting point will be Pease Pottage Services with a quick Welcome speech and your free Welcome Packs handed out.

There will then be a convoy through winding country roads, with gorgeous scenery, from Pease Pottage to our new venue at Denbies Wine Estate. It will be the first time these roads will have ever seen this number of Jaguars passing through, and will set the mood for our arrival at Denbies, where we will have a grassed, enclosed area set aside exclusively for us for the day.

Denbies will be laying on a breakfast for us upon arrival. The options being: Full English breakfast with Tea or Coffee & Orange juice £8.25, a Bacon or Sausage Buttie £3.50, and a Bacon or Sausage Buttie with Egg £4.75. Please note that there will also be 10% discount vouchers available to attendees to reduce these prices :-)

As you know we like to try to work with our sponsors to keep your Jaguar costs low... and we are pleased to say we have arranged the following discount codes (so far) for event attendees, which will be active from now until our event:
