Hey, you're not alone out there. I own an '05 S type R and love it, with exception of the water valve which I'm about to replace....a common issue. Also own a '64 E type ots under 2nd restoration. Live in 103rd & Metcalf area in Overland Park. I have spied a white S type R in the south Metcalf area but don't know owner. Must admit, haven't seen many R's in the area. Bought mine in Chicago as few were for sale in this area.

Welcome to the fold. Have an '05 S type R I've enjoyed for the last 3 years. Member of the Heart of America Jaguar Club here in KC. Love my S type which still looks terrific after all the years. Had the wheels re-powder coated by Alloy Wheel via Eveland Brothers Auto Body so car shows well...no dings great paint and interior. Had Aristocrat Motors rebuild the transmission at 78k miles....a not-so-uncommon situation with the ZF at the 75-100k miles mark. Have run the car through the JCNA slalom at the Lake Garnett Sports Car Race Revival on several occasions and placed very well nationally. Plan to take part again at this year's October event in Garnett, KS. S type so much fun to drive and its' unique styling gets lots of comments. Also proud owner of a '64 E type roadster which is nearing the end of it's second restoration to concours standards. Any Jag enthusiasts of S type or E types welcome to contact me at jagnutz@swbell.net. Bob Gilmore
