Default wiper arm removal

Trying to get the wiper blade off so I can ck the hoses to see if there is a clog. wiper work and washer motor works but no fluid. So I have all the screws out and wiper blade nuts off but cant get the arms off. Dont want to pry to hard is there a trick or tool made for this? I have a pry device to remove door panels etc will that work? Bob

I own a 1997 Jaguar XK8, just bought it in Calif., and drove it home to Boulder , CO. I was wondering how to get the wiper arm off , nuts came off easily but can't get the wiper arm off and I don't want to break the plastic under it by prying to hard ? Bavery767.
