Default NYC to Gettysburg

I'm a New Yorker from Brooklyn/Queens area.
I retired and moved to Gettysburg Pa. ( A big difference with everything)
I do go back, about every 3 months, still owning a home in Queens.
If I still lived in New York I would not be a Jaguar owner.
The very first thing I noticed as I parked on my old block - every car bumper
was dented, scratched in some way.
Dings on just about every door from other people opening their doors
into the other. I remember having to live with this situation years ago and it has not gotten better. In fact, the design of todays cars have this level even high.
I just could not put up with this day after day.

I left NY in 1973. Been (happily) here in PA for the past 30 years. People still pick out a NY word once in a while when I speak. :-)

Left the Bronx (205th and Grand Concourse) in 85. In PA now. No trace of a Bronx accent anymore.

Gettysburg is a great town; as a CW buff, it's almost a must to want to live there!

Default Hey !!!

Quite a website Bryan. Good Luck with your Gems !!!!
Gettysburg has appeal to me also.

I'm a PA person originally but worked at Montefiore Hospital in the late 60's
and lived at 212th & Bainbridge across from Van Courtland Cemetery.

Regards,
