I have a 2005 X-Type (3.0L-Base model with manual transmission) I cannot find where a simple 2 wire connector belongs. The 2wire/connector is part of the positive auxiliary cable harness bundle that is attached to the positive battery terminal. In this harness is the heavy gauge positive lead is routed from the positive terminal to the front power distribution fuse box in the engine compartment. the only other wires in this harness are 2 mystery wires (a green/blue stripe & a Blue Wire, 20Ga x 12" lg) They terminate into a grey 2 connector plug. I can not figure out where this plug goes?


Please help.

 

If its what I think it is, the connector has a storage place on the back of the battery box. It's the battery isolator that was only used during shipping and now has no function.

 

Ok that makes sense because there is not another available plug any where around this wire. Thanks for the reply.
