Coolant drip

Coolant drip
My wife's 2004, X-type ,3.0, has a small coolant leak that's dripping from under the power steering reservoir in the right front near the right front tire. I can see it on the garage floor. It's very slight and only see a miniscule loss of coolant. Of course I can't see where it's coming from, but what should I expect from up in that area? Water pump?, Hose?,thermostat housing? also do these vehicles take special coolant? It doesn't look green like the coolant I'm used to,but it's almost clear with just a little pinkish color to it. Thanks for any help. Russ

These cars, like all modern Jaguars, use the long-life pink coolant. DO NOT MIX with green coolant! You'll have to carefully trace that leak - it can be tracking along hoses and other parts before it drips. One thing to check closely is the plastic reservoir near the firewall. These can crack along the bottom and/or near the nipple for the hose. These reservoirs are not expensive and are easily replaced.
