Overheating & Coolant Loss

Thermo,
Do you know anything about the TSB XT310-02 Fuel System – Drivability/Starting Issues:
http://www.jagrepair.com/images/TSB/...g%20Issues.pdf
I have the DTC code A2879 from the ETM reader and P0442/P0455 from the OBDII reader as stated in the TSB. Could one fo the issues detailed in the TSB be causing my current misfires? I wonder if I had 2 separate issues that happened back to back. Thanks again.

Well I have been driving it around in short distances for past couple months. CEL is still on but I have found out a couple things during this time, namely
- The car stops misfiring if there is less than 1.5 gallons in the tank
- Coolant level is steady and overheating is nonexistent (looks like I had 2 separate problems or 1 caused another)
- No vaccuum leaks that I can detect
- Car runs like it is bogged down at times and recently has been hard to even fill up with gas, even a gallon's worth it goes extremely slow.
I am kind of glad that last issue has appeared which makes me now thinking that I have a charcoal canister/purge solenoid issue that is causing the emissions code and misfire. I think the slow filling fuel issue really points to that and kind of backs up everything else that has been happening. Any thoughts from the experts?

Stu, stick around. I am sure you have found some very useful information. We also pride ourselves on being a different kind of car group and like to get to know one another and have a good time. So, make a stop by the "New Member" section and introduce yourself. Sounds like you already have looked around and seen what we have to offer. I think you will like it here. Besides, that way, you can learn who the movers and shakers are around the site.

coolant leak
Hi Everyone!
I had the same trouble but the coolant tank was cracked. It's good to learn that there are that many seals! Since replacing the coolant tank though, the car won't pass the emissions test. It pressure tested OK with the mechanic and the computer did not pick up any codes. Any idea what the problem could be? I'm like you queensnewbie, learning a little as we go. Away right now and won't get to it for awhile. Any advice would be highly appreciated.
