Running cables from dash to Estate trunk

Running cables from dash to Estate trunk
I'm replacing the premium sound and satnav unit in my estate with an aftermarket setup, and I need to run some cables from the dash to the trunk (where the existing amp/CD changer etc sits).
Has anyone got any tips or photos on how to run these wires? I'm nervous about breaking trim pieces, and I don't know how to remove the rear seats/bolsters (or if I even have to!).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Grrrmachine, because you are running stereo cables that are not power cables, I would recommend running the wires up along the ceiling of the car. The thought is that by running the wires there, you will be further away from any wiring that can induce noise into the data cables, leading to communications issues. Then all you would have to do is feed the wiring down one of the pillars to get it near the CD changer. Pulling off the upper trim is not that difficult. MOst of it is simply friction clipped into place. So, a good tug and it should pop off. Just be careful as I am not sure how the trim on the estates is set up as I have not had a chance to work on one. But, if you are not seeing holes where a screw could possibly be put, then odds are it has friction clips.
