Default Seat skin swap done: Driver - Passenger

I have just swapped the front seat skins so the worn driver's skin becomes the newer looking passenger's skin and vice versa. If anyone wants to do this, I can post some help. Let me know.

About 4 hours work to complete the swap

Only issue is the side air bag in the seat is now on the inside of the car next to the center console...

I may have been amiss in not making it clear that the swap was of the seat skins/covers. I have now edited the start post.

the skins have special stitching around the air bag area, the other side has standard stitching that may not split if the bag goes off

The stitching itself appears to be the same. However there is an extra piece of nylon(?) cloth to cover the airbag, whose purpose, I would say, is to force the split to occur at the front corner of the seat back. It is possible to sew in a similar patch on the other side. I confess that I didn't bother; maybe I should have.

I'd love more info about what you did. I went to see my new part car today. Nice sport seat... but not heated.. so I would have to fit the heating element of my current seats in them. So definitely have to remove the skin

I have the write up but the system tells me it is too long to post. Any ideas on how I get around that?
