Hi , the fuse is located inside the car , behind a corner shaped cover in the glove box , did mine the other day , I assume you mean the cig lighter socket and not just the lighter itself , my daughters DS game charger popped ours . Fuse No. F68 , 15 amp , blue in colour .

Cheers,

Mike.

I recently changed the cig lighter fuse as well. I believe you are correct that it is No. F68, 15A but mine was located in the fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side. There is a piece to the left under the steering wheel that slides out allowing access to this fuse pannel.

Mike X is in UK, ted410 is in the USA. So you are both really referring to the same area of the car when you think about it.

If your fuses are fine, you can physically check if the plug is connected to the back of the lighter. You could do this by removing the J-Gate wood surround (snaps right off) and than you use a torx screw and remove two screws and than the ashtray comes right out and exposes the wire that is connected to the lighter. That way if your fuses are fine, you can see if it somehow it got unplugged or even the little plastic clip that holds it into place broke, their made really cheap, or maybe a burnt bulb?
