Question ABS problem

I have an ABS problem, the cars is a 2002 Jaguar X-type 3.0l manual. A month ago the abs stopped working and the fault code my reader gave was C1145 which was the drivers side speed sensor, the car is RHD. There was also a noise from the wheel bearing so the garage changed the wheel bearing for an original jaguar one and that issue was solved, he toldd me to change the spped sensor, erase the fault and try again.

I did this but as soon as the car moved and I touched the brake the abs light came back on, I then changed the harness, removed the errorr code and now the problem is different, if i drive at 9mph or less, I can brake hard or soft and no abs light comes on, the minute my car reaches 10mph the abs light comes on even though i dont touch the brake

Any help appreciated

Thanks
Jack

Reluctor ring for the ABS is likely missing a few teeth and the hall effect sensor can't read properly. Common problem.

Default abs light

hi i had the same problem it all came down to the wheel bearing being put in back to front there's a magnetic ring that's meant to face the abs sensor and if its facing the wrong way it doesn't pick it up i had to take the brand new bearing out and buy a new one again and that sorted the problem

Have had similar issues definitely gotta watch those rings they are prone for failure. My issue was in the rear and the ring basically popped of then the abs lights and traction control lights followed and the car drove horribly. Replaced outer CV joint and problem was solved.

Dear fellow X-Type Owner and to anyone in the US who has experienced this ABS fault and pulsating breaking issue on there X-Type, on buying a replacement REAR outer CV Joint with the reluctor ring, can anyone PLEASE point me to a seller that is both reliable and affordable on-line or someone who can ship reasonably to the state of Utah (84045 Zip Code)? Based on my web search thus far, I have only seen pricing north of the $170 range plus shipping. I own a 2002 X-Type 2.5 engine AWD with an automatic transmission and would like to replace both rear. Any insight is highly appreciated.

Default Grinding noise involving the abs

I have a 03 X-Type jaguar 2.5 and I am having problems with the ABS system. within the first 5 minutes of mashing the brakes as I drive there would be a grinding sound until the abs light comes on and then the grinding goes away, but the abs light then comes on. If i unplug the switch underneath the wheel well the abs light comes on, but the grinding doesn't happen. I just bought the car and I am aware that it was in a accident on the side where the problem exist.

any suggestions on what to do or how to solve this problem
