Default Airbag flash code 48?

I changed the manual passenger seat for a 8 way seat in my wife's
2007 3.0L X-type with an automatic transmission. After the job was done
everything worked but the airbag light flashes.

The pattern is 4 flashes pause 8 flashes followed by a long pause and
a repeat. Everything else works. The only parts that were changed
were the power seat base with the control stitches and the seat back.
The seat belt tensioner was not changed nor the seat bottom cushion.

The only thing relevant to the airbags that was changed was the seat
back. Could this cause the 48 code? That code is not in any list of
codes that I could find.

13 - Crash data memory full
16 - Pass seat weight sensor CAN fault
17 - Pass spatial sensor CAN fault
18 - Pass airbag deactivate lamp circuit fault
19 - Airbag circuit status fault driver
21 - Airbag circuit status fault pass
22 - Side Airbag circuit fault driver
23 - Side Airbag circuit fault pass
33 - Seat Belt Pretension fault driver
34 - Seat Belt Pretension fault pass
42 - Impact sensor circuit fault front
43 - Impact sensor circuit fault driver side
44 - Impact sensor circuit fault pass side
51 - Seat belt switch circuit fault driver
52 - Seat belt switch circuit fault pass
53 - Airbag audible warning circuit fault
54 - RCM configuration failure
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Pete.

To answer my own question: I found the solution. The flash code was described
on page 2710 of a document called Jaguar_XType_WorkshopManual.pdf. It is
an error associated with the passenger seat position sensor.

That manual has a long section on the seat belt and airbag systems, it was very
helpful. I don't remember where I found it online.

When I changed the seat from manual to 8 way power I noticed that there was
one connector missing in the main connector bundle for the passenger seat. I
assumed that it was just a difference between the manual and power sear
mechanism. The power seat base that I purchased was complete with all the
motors and the switches.

The manual seat base had a position sensor and the power seat base did not.
The power seat base did have a mounting for such a sensor but none was there
nor had it ever been there (as far as I can tell). The mounting brackets are
very different between the manual and power seat bases. I did not notice
this at first.

I took the position sensor from the manual seat base, had to drill out some
rivets, and mounted it in the power seat base and now all is well. There is no
error code flashing any more.

All that I can figure is that the power seat base is from an earlier car that did not
have the type of air bags that reduce their impact when the seat is moved forward.

Hope this helps anyone that might have this problem.

Pete.
