Default Seat belt just went limp!

Hey guys.
Seems like I keep getting random mini problems at the same time.
lol..

my driver seat belt is out all the way and wont tense back to how it should be. Its just there. I tried pulling out a little more, I tugged it quick.. i tugged it slow.. no response. The seat belt is just limp.

Anyone know what I should do?
I tried taking off the panel that covers the seat belt but I didnt know how to get it off... and theres an airbag there.. so just wanted to try and get some help from you guys first!

What should I do?
Maybe if I can get to it.. I can roll it back up?

Best thing to do if you are afraid of the airbags (I would be too), is disconnect the battery.

somehow the seatbelt got twisted under the panel..
untwisted it and it still was a little slow..
sprayed some lube in the tension thing at the base and just played with it until it started working again..
good as new.

Thanks dennis!
Next thing is an oil change.
lol.
Im probably gonna go get some castrol syntec 5w30. I like style and shape of the bottle.
haha.
Where is the oil filter by the way?
I can probably finf it but I'm at work right now.
On BMW's the filter is super simple and is easily accesible from the engine bay..
I'm guessing the jag's is somewhere under the car?

It's partially hidden under that front undercover..but it's accessable.

Nice choice on the Oil too..that is the second best Synthetic to Amsoil...Not just my opinion but proven in the "four ball wear" lab test.

Oil filter is an easy change just make sure you have a plastic bag to cover the header with so you don't leak oil on the header...burning oil stinks! I'd imagine the filter change would be easier if awd wasn't fitted...

Oh yeah.. I forgot to say I did the oil change 2 days ago.
lol..

YES.. burning oil DOES stink.
lol.
why would they position everything like it is?
thats just dumb.
My car smoked at stops for like half an hour of drivinguntil it burnedthe excess oil.
haha..

next thing...
I have a K&N airfilter on order from a local kragen.
$42.95 AND it comes with a filter charger kit =]
picking it up tomorrow.

Then after that..
it's exhaust time...
=]
lol

It's not bad if you put something on the top of the header/pipe...I don't think there is really anywhere else to put it with the awd (at least that is my guess.)

FYI..

After I install my new filter, I douche' off the exhaust pipe and surrounding area with brake cleaner, at least this cleans it all off, so I don't have the smokey smell afterwards..

Rosemont......Man you kill me.
I've been looking through your replies and sorta put together a response, all with legitimate copies of parts of your posts.
Together they brought a tear to my glass eye.........I cried REAL tears

[sm=smiley36.gif] Jim, nothing better to do tonight? Great editing skills, now how about a condensed version for Rosemonts new sig...which he should be obligated to keep for at least one month. Serves him right for allowing you all those tasty tidbits in this thread.
