Default Check engine

I have a 2002 x type 3.0. This past week it went into limp mode and came back to normal. It happened a couple times the first day. I went through checked wiring in the engine bay and my stereo amplifier. Also, redid the ground for the battery and replaced it. The codes were all misfire and one for the tcm (I don't remember the number of it) but it was related to the ignition switch being on and losing battery power.
So, the next day I let it run for three hours and then took it for a fifty mile drive, turning it off and restarting it a number of times. Ran great no issues, at least not until I was a few miles from home. The usual. "Cruise control can't be used" then cel came on.
The following day. Hooked up my scanner all the codes were the same minus that tcm one. All misfires on bank two. ( I'll list them at the end) So, I yanked the plenum. Replaced the plugs and coils on all six cylinders, cleaned the intake and replaced both upper and lower intake gaskets.
It ran amazing. Then twenty minutes the same thing.
So, yesterday I chased wires. I found some that I was sure would be the problem because the loom was melted but, no luck. I tested the grounds on bank 2 coil connectors. I found they had lower resistance than they should. So, I moved to the ecu and couldn't get the bolt out to save my life. It's a tamper proof torx bit but with five points. I didn't have one and couldn't get needle nose to grip. Today I went on a hunt but no part store had one.
I have had the engine on running with no cel on and jiggled wires and connectors, couldn't cause a fault. I feel pretty confident that it is the ecu but, want to see if any of you have any experience. I have a real scanner but it doesn't go beyond generic on jags.
The codes.

Please help 😢

Prior to condemning the control module(s), what is the age and condition of the battery? Many of the electrical gremlins posted to this forum are caused by a failing or weak battery.

With the ignition in the off position, the voltage at the battery should be greater than 12.2 volts, if not, the battery must be replaced.

Ya, I wasn't clear with that... I changed it when I redid the ground. That was my first thought
