Have you considered painting the back of the pad a contrasting color say yellow?

Very nice I want to a sunshine yellow on mine, I think it'll look great against my gloss black paint job.

I did mine in black. This picture was over four years ago and they've held up pretty nicely. Almost time for some new pads though.

There are a bunch on Ebay, so that is a great place to start. Search for "Jaguar brake caliper decals" gets about 35 results. Search for just Jaguar decals and you will have more options than you ever dreamed possible.
No idea on how they will handle the heat, but they are cheap enough. As well, I did this same thing to my M3 and the decals have held up with no problems.
