Default Heater Control problem

i have a 2.0 petrol 2001 model, the manual heater control panel isnt working only the fan control works on high speed. the air con buttons and heated rear window do not work and neither does the heater control as it blows hot air constantly. I did purchase a resisitor pack to fix this, but cannot find where to replace it, any help would be appreciated please, do i need to change anything else? I have already changed the heater controls panel but this didnt solve the problem. are there any diagrams that show location of resisitor pack?

The resistor bank is next to the blower motor, behind the dash on the passenger side. Accessible from the footwell.

Have you checked fuses. Fuse 4, 30A in the engine compartment fuse box, F75, 7.5A and F80, 7.5A both in the glovebox fuse panel.

Sounds like a hot wire touching ground. I would just start by tracing wires. Its a pain but you can find it. Its usually where the wires can be moved or touched.
