RE: how many miles on your XtypE?
02 3.0 Now has 143,000 miles. Replaced Cats, both o2 sensors, Intake seals, rear control arms, bushings and shocks, virtually all hoses, Michelin Primacy tires, alignment, battery, brake rotors and pads. Bought w/ 125,000 for $8,000, add $5000 for repair/restoration. The more I've fixed, the better the drive and ride gets. It now runs and rides as good as the 10,000 mile loaner I used.

RE: how many miles on your XtypE?
2002 xtype 3.0 had it for 4 years, currently 73,000 miles, so far no major repairs except exery 3000 miles changes oil and weekly fluid maintainance. had some upgrades, eiback pro- comp lowering suspension, K&N air filters, great ride and cornering, 18 x 8 wheels with 225x35x 18 continental extreme contact tires and chrome grills, the cat is still full power and fast. can't complain.

2005 X-Type - 22,869 miles as of today (I bought it at Christmas with 21,560 on the odometer).
I'm embarrassed to say I currently own four cars, so not putting on a ton of miles on the X yet. I'm expecting to be down to 2 cars by the summer, and will be using the X-Type as my daily driver. So far, it's been a dream - the only problem I've had is one dash vent clip coming loose.

Four cars is nothing to be ashamed of....just the opposite in my opinion. I personally have a 3 car/truck minimum. I've had as many as 6 at one time, but no fewer than 3. Rules are rules!
P.S. - dab a tiny bit of gorilla glue on the dash vent plastic clip and that will be the end of that. I went through 3 sets, including the "new and improved" ones, and they would still pop out in the winter.

'05 X-Type 3.0L Auto - bought in Sept '08 - have 35k on the dial.
Warranty : Trunk latch assembly/Hood Fireproof liner/AT Shift Knob (Wood)/ Front Passenger seat belt assembly/Battery
Non-Warranty : Tires/Fluids/Brakes (Rotors & Pads) complete.
Have a feeling my tranny/propshaft/rear diff is starting to go out - need to dealership it before warranty expires.
