Any chance anybody can send me a working cd that will fix my blank nav screen and heater blowing full heat
error ext 50/51
ivw tried making my own cd/DVD but don't seem to work maybe I'm doing something wrong or using wrong files I don't know but if somebody could help me would be great
i will also be happy to pay for this if somebody could tell me how much I really need this problem solved because for a weird reason ever since I tried update through secret menu it said caution no update disc insert disc I turned car ofd and on and it was blank ever since

Thank you so much.. I'd like to let you know how much that was helpful. I'd like to tell you something, at the bigging the DVD didn't work so I left it at the player and went to my home for an hour and a half then I went out to catch an appointment so at the way the screen flashed with the logo and it asked me for the PIN code.. You helped me to solve my problem, thank you so so so much.

Hello all,
I'm new to this forum and came by this tread.
Since about 2 weeks i own a Jaguar S-type Sport.
I tried to update the system but the system crashed.
I have now the famous ext 50 and 51 message in the lower display and a black screen.
I now tried the loading.kiwi file.
Burned it on a DVD-R double layer dvd
Put it in the car, ignition off, start car again, wait for 5 minutes but nothing happends.
Can someone please help me?
The dealer wont help me to reboot/instal latest S/W update.
(sorry for my bad english, i'm from the Netherlands)

I had the same issue but what I did (and by no means do I encourage this action for profitable causes) is download a whole original SAT NAV 2012 DVD from Torrent (and again by no means do I encourage this, but this was my last resort.) I will give you the link to the torrent, it's like 7.36 GB but it should work. In my case the loading.kiwi didn't work, had to download the whole thing, multiple files missing and so on.

OMG !! I made a complete idiot of myself. I was looking through the hidden menu in my touch screen and pressed the s/w button and now have a blank black screen and the fan going nuts. The link here to the loading.kwi I have burned to a standard dvd and put it into the dvd reader in car, turned off ignition and turned it back on again but still flashing 50.51. The link is only 7mgb in size which seems a bit small. Can someone please tell me what am doing wrong and give me the proper software for my 2004 x type.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I use easy cd 10 and burned the file to both a standard dvd and a dual layered dvd and both times left the ignition on with fan going full bore for about and hour and neither did anything. Not sure if I finalized disc as would need to look for that menu. when I insert the old 2003 maps the disc runs continually for as long as the ignition is left on so I don't think I have damaged any hardware and also from some of the posts I have read pressing the update button can't damage anything other than lose settings and the dreaded black screen pops up. I have ordered an up to date maps and firmware disc and hope this cures it as I have repaired all the other faults and car is now ready for the road. If you know where the finalize section is in roxio then could you please direct me that way.

on ebay probably you can find the updated map dvd disc 2011 or even the earlier ones likely have the firmware update, even if loading.kwi is not in the map dvd directory! I tried many different ways mentioned on this thread, burning discs, closing or not and all for a month. But the 30mins battery disconnect and then insert new disc, wait 10mins did it~! recommend doing that first.

Is this that map dvd you speak of? Also does the car need to be running for the 10 mins it’s loading? After 30 min battery disconnect ?

This is the Loading.KWI file from the 2011 Navigation disc.
If you have Nav and go into the hidden menu and click on the update button you will need this file to recover from the 50-51 error and blank screen.
just burn the file to a blank DVD and insert it in the DVD player in the trunk/boot
Remove your keys from the ignition then start the car. The firmware update will load into the nav screen in about 10-15 mins and the screen will display the Leaper you can then re insert your nav disk.
I decided to post this on its own thread as a lot of people appear to need it.
