380 Tune

380 Tune
Has anybody investigate a 380hp tune? Or, does anyone know why the XF is available with either the 340 or 380 hp V6 but the XE doesn't seem to be?

I think plenty of people with the 340 (base) f type have taken it up to 380, maybe higher. There are threads in the f type forum about it.
My (probably wrong) guess about it being absent from the XE range is that it will be the R or SVR that has a more potent 6 rather than an 8.
Supposedly the performance between the 340 and the 380 is the same until 100kph anyway.

The 340 and 380 engines are the same, nothing different across the brand except for the engine management file. We're popular on the F-Type board with tuning them too above 400bhp with nothing other than a tune, we documented a local 3.0L XF-S AWD and brought it safety to 416bhp, again just on a tune. Obviously theirs more options like a bolt on lower crank pulley to push the horse power craving even further!
