Added an XE to the stable
Needed something to limit miles on the MB lease and for those times I need to give the XK8 a rest - so broke down and added a Ultimate Black Metallic/Latte XE 25T Premium to the stable.
I think I may have to fight someone for driving rights!!

I've only had for a day and will take pics later of the 2 side by side but for comparable cars - but so far - the XE wins hands down although it does have some flaws.
XE - smoother acceleration all around and quieter than the CLA and it handles better than the CLA
XE seats more comfortable and both electronically adjustable - CLA passenger seat manual control and minimal recline capability
XE roomier than CLA
XE has touch screen, voice activated or steering wheel controls for just about everything
XE has back-up camera CLA does not
CLA has blind spot on passenger side (B-pillar too wide coupled with limited range of motion on front passenger rear seat back)
CLA rear seats fold down if needed XE does not
Although the CLA has a sportier look, the XE has a more luxurious look/feel
More to follow as we get acclimated to the new addition

Congrats on the new XE, but Would have kept driving the MB and paid for the mileage. I miss my MB and not satisfied with my XE......yet at least. All these cars in this segment are so close so its probably just personal preference at this point. I feel my XE was just not plush/unfinished and Jag should have waited a tad bit longer before releasing it so we can get a better first experience.
After I ordered my XE I found this clip of Matt ripping the XE and I got all hyped up:

BigCat - still have the CLA - just giving her a rest. I had been looking (not real hard) for a used XJ or XF as an alternate vehicle but when my XK8 had to spend a week in the shop getting transmission rebuilt, and we had to share the CLA, I started actively looking and the XE fit the bill.

But
JaguarUSA.com says:
SPLIT REAR FOLDING SEATS
Wherever you’re heading there’s plenty of room to take everything you need - split/fold rear seats (standard on XE Premium, Prestige, and R-Sport) fold fully or can be divided 40:20:40.
???
