That doesn't sound like a great or terrible deal. Seems par for the course, although $2k upfront incl. first month payment seems a bit low? Have you thought about putting more upfront? And have you considered a 2016 F-TYPE coupe instead? I know several dealerships are doing up to $10k off MSRP. You could realistically lease one for $5-600 a month.
I realized after I posted this that I might have put this in the wrong forum, I apologize. My quote was for an F Type. I really didn't want to put money down extra on a lease and am having trouble getting any kinda good lease deals but they are real quick to say they can give me 15-20k off purchase deal. 😫

I was able to lease with 4K down, 33 month 10k miles for just under $650 on a 3.5 R Sport AWD fully loaded.

Just picked up a XE R-Sport AWD 35T. MSRP was just under 55k. I had a Leased Jeep Wrangler unlimited to trade in early. Turned out not that bad. 12k miles per year for 39 months. 8500k down, 548.00 per month. If I waited a year, and "lived" with the Jeep, it could have cost less, but I am happy. I was tired of the Jeep, and had to do something. By the way, I traded in my 2007 S type R for the Jeep. Big mistake, but got tired of getting stuck in 1 inch of snow...

Too late for this now, but this problem could be easily solved with the set of winter tires...

Tried everything but Studs... See the drive way in the picture I just posted? In an inch of snow, I could not get into the garage... Back of the S type R was so light it had no traction. Tires would just spin. I could leave it in gear, get out, and the tires would just slowly spin...

What are your impressions in terms of acceleration?

The R-Sport has great acceleration for a big car, (big compared to the STI). STI vs R-Sport would be a close 0-60 race, but the STI would take it. Up the R-Sport to 380HP as it should be, and the R-Sport would beat it. IMO...

East coast ice is a killer... Almost every time it snows here, it rains first then freezes and snows on top of the ice. So you get a 1/8" of ice, then snow on top.

For example...

And how would Jeep help you in this situation? If anything it goes down faster... The trick is not to use brakes. Just downshift to 1st and try to make a controlled descend using engine brake. RWD helps even better while descending.

That is an amazing deal

The lowest lease rate I could find in my area for 35T AWD with MSRP around 48K was 449$ a month.

4K down, 12K miles, 48K MSRP came out to ~530$ per month for me.

I generally do well with car deals that's why I always go last week of the year. But this time around I didn't really even have much trouble. I found a dealer in PA , they had pretty much same cars on special with a $4,000 rebate (deals right on their front page of the website). Originally the manager tried to tell me the deals are there just to get you in the door but once I asked him if they are lying he quickly agreed to the deal for that specific car only as he explained. They wanted 5K down plus fees for $269/month and 7500miles per year. I called them and asked what they wanted a month for that specific car with 12k/year and 5k down including all fees. They said $343 a month and they had one car left with that build. I called my local dealer and asked if they would match it so I don't have to drive 2 hours to PA. They agreed without any issues. Another dealership near me didn't want to negotiate at all so I guess its hit and miss.

Job well done!

I guess I will drive down to NJ next time I will shop for a car.

Just signed for a prestige V6/awd/loaded. 14K down (equity in trade plus cash), 12K year, allthe goodies except for the driver assist package...58K list...354 a month (residuals on an awd in PA seem to be higher). Even got them to throw in mud flaps...
