Default New Ingenium petrol and diesels announced for XE, XF & F-Pace

Jaguar F-Pace, XF and XE ranges updated with new Ingenium engines | Autocar

2.0 petrol: 197 bhp and 247 bhp
2.0 diesel: 237 bhp

XE gets all three options + bump to 375 bhp in 3.0 V6

F-Pace gets new diesel option and higher power petrol

And the ICTP gets a dual-view option where driver and passenger see different content.

I assume this will all roll into US offerings as well.

I'm interested to see how these engines turn out. The Ford engines have been time-tested and are reliable.

Is the V6 bump just SW like all the rest in previous history? Or is the V6 a new motor as well?

Nope. Same 3.0L S/C V6 we know and love from the XE 35t, it's just software.

Road & Track mentioned that too. 380hp V6. They are calling it XE S.

It starts at 52K+ for RWD

If prices in this link are correct, there are only modest increases in XE prices for 2018.
There is only one 20d listed so would like to think this is the new twin turbo, but probably not.
In contrast, big increases in F-Pace prices...

Jaguar XE, XF and F-Pace receive new engine for 2018

Updated prices from Jaguar USA.

Looks like the 237hp diesel is not coming to US in 2018.

I'm glad to see that with the new 2.0 Ingenium gas engine they're making the R-Sport trim and AWD available on XE now.

Interesting. So the base price of the XE goes up, but the base price of the XF goes... down? I don't understand this move, unless Jaguar are planning to introduce a model even cheaper than the XE?

As it stands, to get something comparably equipped to an Audi A3/A4 and Benz CLA250/C300, you have to tack on a bunch of options... My 25t with ALL the options came out to $45k. If they want to dip into the other German competitors sales, the prices should be a bit lower IMO.

XF prices also increased:

20d RWD Base from $48,250 to $49,275
20d AWD Base from $51,250 to $52,275

35t RWD Base from $51,290 to $53,965
35t AWD Base from $54,290 to $56,965

The new Ingenium 2.0 gas engine (25t model) means there is now a lower end entry point, just like in F-Pace line.

Ah, I misread the first paragraph. Thanks for the clarification.

Default New 25t petrol questions as to torque??

Anyone seen any info on this new Ingenium that lists the torque numbers of this new Ingenium 4 twin turbo petrol and where (at what RPM) that torque is made?
I can only, after review of many articles and jag sites, get the HP, listed at 247. however, I am most curious about the torque as well.
I suspect that in XE, you will get the rear and AWD as listed. However, nowhere again do i see if they are actually going to have a 2 wheel drive in the F-Pace, which I hope they don't so it stays AWD since it's a mild, as needed, AWD anyway.
