What's your MPG in the XE like?

Which engine? In the 177KW XE we are getting about 10 litres/100km in mainly city driving. In the 280KW F type I get about 11.5l 100km, driven fairly enthusiastically. Both cars are relatively new, it has been my experience that the economy improves as time goes on though I dont know whether that is more that I driver them harder when I first get them.

I have the 340hp engine. CITY driving with a very heavy foot:16 mpg. I usually have the car in Dynamic and Sport modes. I can see the fuel gage dropping. I've only had the car less than a month, so the novelty of hammering the accelerator may wear off (maybe not). Highway MPG 29-32. I did not buy this car for fuel economy

Highest MPG I have seen in my car so far
Coming down from White Mountains (coasting)
Overall I have been very satisfied with the fuel economy. In the city, very heavy traffic I get 14-15mpg but regular driving is 19-20.
But highway economy is amazing. Often see 32mpg which is crazy for a car of this type.

Just display any item from trip A or B on the dashboard (as in avg. MPG or MPH) using the button on the end of the indcator stalk and then keep that button pressed down for a few secs until the readout initialises (it will re-initialise all of A/B's counters, not just the one displayed).

If you keep your speed below 75 mph, you should be getting around 29-30mpg. I think the sweet spot is 65-70mph. That's when the engine revs are around 1600-1800rpms.

I've got the RWD 35t R-sport. I usually get 12-15 mpg in city traffic. City driving, without traffic will get me 17-22 mpg (mixed freeway/some stop lights). On long road trips and empty freeway driving I have seen 27-30 mpg.
A trip from Austin to Houston will get me about 29 mpg, and I've done it with 30 mpg.
Interestingly I have a 2012 Toyota Camry (I4 engine) and the XE isn't too far off despite the supercharger, extra cylinders, and making double the power. Of course the Camry easily beats the XE by 20-50% in city driving scenarios but on the freeway they are comparable. Technology has come a long way.
cheers

Resurrecting this quiet thread!
My previous ride was an Acura TSX that also required 91 octane. I used to alternate between 91 and 93, and never noticed a difference in mileage. I will be mostly using 91 with my new XE.
As for mpg - my TSX was a 4-cylinder and got about the same mpg as the XE is advertised to get, even with a 340 hp engine versus 205 in the TSX... However, while I miss the Acura's manual transmission (this is my first auto car), the handling of the XE makes my foot a little more lead-like, so will have to see just what mpg I get...
