Default Xcentric Exhaust Systems Release Canons for Jaguar XE

Xcentric Exhaust’s newest Jaguar XE system sounds murderously good, piping out blasting claps from the Ingenium engine’s thunderous explosions.

Just a personal preference, however the notion of thunderous explosions from the XE exhaust is a real turn-off to me. I love the sound of a high performance engine and well tuned exhaust, however the 'explosion' bit seems obnoxious for those that are not driving the car.

My FtypeR sounds too tame in quiet mode and sounds wonderful in 'exhaust open' mode except for the bangs and pops on deceleration. I asked the dealer if they could tune out the explosion bits and they couldn't .. they have other Ftype owners asking the same, but apparently it can't be done. Anyway, fabulous car otherwise and I expect my XE sport to be every bit as wonderful.. just different.
