Hi there, I am new to this forum and I am hoping someone can help me solve my problem.

Two weeks ago my battery died, I fitted a new battery but my Sat nav screen was completed black, after some research on this forum I went to get my battery reset by my local Jag garage.

After them taking all my money the problem was not solved. I have checked all the fuses and they are fine however I have now found the DVD player in the back wont eject the disk.

I removed the power cord and when I put it in it lets me take the disk in and out for about 30 secs and then it stops, no running noise or anything.

Can anybody help me??

Can you explain what the dealership did to reset the battery?
Was it replaced again after you replaced it?

hi tbird6 this is what happened sunday picked car up from manchester i live in leicester when i got there the guy said battery was flat and he had to charge it every thing was working monday morning car started but no screen,radio no hard buttons working drove to work monday 3.30pm went back to car every thing working. tuesday morning got in car no screen,radio ect so brought new battery fitted tuesday afternoon still no screen ect so read forums and it was mentioned the battery moduel needs resetting to tell car it has new battery.phoned jag dealer and at first dont know what i was asking from so they went of and asked a mecanhic and they said it did need resetting so booked it in two hours later they said they had reset but still no screen ect they need to do more test and could not say how long it would take or how much it would be and from what i have been told they will just replace parts untill they find the problem ? hope this explanes thank you
