I had the best luck by pulling it out a few inches and if needed rotating it like Eric said. The slower the fuel flow the better too, so you may be able to set it on the lowest stop and not have to rotate it. It's a pain in the *** and looks odd. This is a common issue and my '13 was fixed under warranty. The service manager told me it's a labor intensive, very expensive modification as they have to remove the rear quarter panel and some other parts to remove and replace the fuel filler tube with an updated version. I don't remember exactly, but I think it was something like $4-5K for the labor. The fix really works and I'm satisfied with the work done at no cost. If you are handy you may want to look into ordering the new tube and doing it yourself. Good luck.

Fuel Filler Neck
Hi,
I experienced the same problem with gas station pumps shutting off every few seconds with my 2015 XF SC. which I bought new. None of these rotating nozzle, hold gas pump upside down, suggestions etc.. worked.
The dealer finally replaced the fuel filler neck under warranty with a redesigned version and I have never had this problem again. I left my car at the dealer and in a few hours they called and said that the work was complete and they even tested it by filling up tank. I don't understand how you are getting quotes of $4-5,000 in labor for a job that took my dealer less than one morning.
I never saw the actual billing invoices to Jaguar since this was done under warranty but the labor quotes you have cited sound outrageous.
