Default Garage Door Opener

Good evening everyone,
Brand new member to the Jag club.
Wife and I got a great deal on a 1995 XJ6 with about 160k on it. Has some minor issues that we are working out - but we totally love the car.
I do have a question - that I could not find by searching.
How do I program the Garage Door opener. I cannot seem to find any instructions on this forum or on the web.
If it is on this forum or has been discussed before I apologize. Direct me to the proper post if you would not mind.

Will post up an intro in the next few days.

Roy, and welcome aboard.

Before going any further......

Does your garage door opener operate on a "rolling code"/"digital code"? If so, no need for programming instructions. The system on your '95 learns only the old-tech "analog" codes.

Cheers

What Doug said....but! Bob posted a TSB with a part number for a rolling-code module that is plug-n-play to the X300 series....sure would like to have one...but Bob observed he didn't know if they were still available or not and I haven't pursued finding it beyond pasting the P/N into google which returned the TSB, and Bob's post and a bunch of unrelated junk.

Roy, I think it is here in the forums somewhere, but a quicker bet would be just paste "Program Homelink" into a web-search engine and go to the homelink site and the inst will be an easier find. Hold any two buttons down at the same time til it flashes to clear existing codes...after that I forget...but some form of press and hold desired button whilst simultaneously holding garage hand-held button....cobwebs. Welcome to the forum, btw...make sure you post that intro in the new members section and keep stroking to get your post-count >10 so a mod can promote you to full access.

but I doubt the pdf's will be accessible to you yet.
