Default 99 VDP codes p0506 and P1647

While driving to the Toyo dealer to get parts for my 4runner, my Jag VDP stalled and would not start again. had to be towed. I hooked up scanner and got 2 codes.
1st was p0506 which has to do with throttle body.
2nd was P1647 which is o2 sensor.
My question is would the O2sensor keep the car from turning over?
Or is it more likely the throttle body code?
Car has plenty of cranking power it just won't turn over.
I cleaned throttle body and changed fuel filter, still no luck!
Any Ideas?
Rebuilt the Toyo starter, at least that is out of the way.

The P0506 'Possible Causes' reads:

Air intake blockage
Accessory drive overload (defective/seized component)
Throttle valve stuck closed
Throttle assembly failure

The P1647 is 'B' bank upstream o2 heater. The car will run without input from an o2 sensor and this code is saying that the heater has failed. It will work normally after heating up, just not when cold.

I would check the air filter and remove and reconnect the electrical connectors on the TB. There was a Service Action for you model year that replaced the TB but it expired last December. Look in the XK8/R TSB Sticky for S514. It's 8 pages or I would have pasted it again.

Test Point,
have cleaned throttle, chaged air filter, disconnected and reconnected all the connectors
still nothing.
what does accessory drive overload mean?

I have no idea.

It might translate to the serpentine belt slowing down the crank speed due to one of the accessories being seized. It might be hard to start if the A/C compressor would not turn.

Probably time to start with the 'my car won't start' thread: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=30792

Default codes, fuel pump

have narrowed problem down to electrical.
had no fuel pressure. no juice to the pump.
tested fuses with a light and found the fuse to be good but no electric to the fuses.
any ideas?
there are 4 fuses in the box in the trunk that have no elec to them.
1 of which is the fuel pump.

Power for several of the fuses in the trunk are fed through an 'Ignition Positive Relay'. Check it for operation. If it is not operating then you have to head back to the ignition switch. Here is the trunk fuse layout.

You could check the fuel pump relay. I believe that would be upstream of the fuse. It's in the trunk fuse box and it's brown. If you have a manual or Alldata subscription you can find a picture of it. You could try swapping it with another (brown) and see if it makes any difference.

Default relays

have checked and double checked all relays.
I was thinking maybe a short somewhere, but the fuel pump wire as well as the high mounted stop light are right there in the trunk with the fuses. The 3rd fuse thats not working is for ACCESSORY SOCKETS. Anyone know what this is for? Cigar lighters never worked, in fact there is no connector for that fuse, its just a blank slot.
Where would I get a electrical schematic for a 99 VDP?
Thanks for all the help.

The 'Ignition Positive Relay' feeds the fuses which feeds the fuel pump relay. Is it operating when you turn the ignition key on? B+ power to it, through it?

Send me a PM with you email address outside the forum and I will forward the .pdf schematic file. Three megs.
