Default Help finding part numbers! (pics inside)

Hi everyone i'm currently trying to replace my heater hoses in my garage, taking a lot longer than expected I am by far no mechanic but I follow the helpful tutorials i find floating around this site. I need some help getting part numbers.

I uploaded the pics of the part numbers I needed. I also would like the part number of the gasket that connects the intake manifold and elbow together. Thanks. The last pic is of the elbow there are tubes that I don't know how to take off. The elbow should have gone off with the intake manifold in one assembly but I couldn't get the tubes off so I separated the two. Thanks so much, I should've taken it to the shop but now the xj8 is stuck in the garage 2000 Jaguar XJ8 VDP

If I'm seeing your 1st photo correctly, that looks like the part load breather tube with part # AJ8004880. Yours looks a little different than what I've seen, but that might be it. If I'm correct, check this out http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-Vande...-/190684567240

BTW just to let you know about disconnecting it -- lots of people will tell you to squeeze the end of the connector to get it off, but the proper way is to use the special tool. If you don't have the special tool, you can try a long, skinny needle-nose pliers to do the trick. I posted a photo of this recently. I'll see if I can find it and post a link.

Thanks mike that's exactly what I needed, I actually bought the special tool to remove the quick release should be coming Monday. The second part I needed doesn't show up in any of the diagrams I looked at if anyone knows that would be helpful! That part has a tube that connects to the throttle body

Two questions --

First, where did you find the special tool (and how much did it cost)?

Second, could you explain a little more about the second part you need?

You don't really need the tool: long needle nose pliers work just as well to relieve the pressure on the fitting, so will squeezing it inward from the 90 degree offsets with water pump pliers.

Jim Lombardi sent drawings a few days back that showed all the hoses and connectors around the TB and octopus; I think the part you need is a nipple for attaching a hose (check the old hose, it might still be there).

Jhartz what your describing sounds like what I need, the nipple broke apart in the hose that connects to the TB. I'll take some more pictures today see if that will help

Anyone know how to remove the tube that I posted in picture 3 ? Any recommendations on replacing anything else while the intake is off

The part number for the gasket from the elbow to the intake manifold is NCA3015BA

In pic #3, maybe I'm missing something, but I believe I just twisted and pulled it off. It's just a vacuum tube. While the intake is off, you might as well give the throttle body a good cleaning - with throttle body cleaner. It has a finish that you don't want to remove. And the intake seals. They look like deformed O-rings. Make sure you get the ones for the AJ27. The earlier ones are different. I always put a little Vaseline on them too.

I tried to just pull it off maybe I'm not pulling hard enough, but I think it might be glued in or something? And I have the intake gaskets already I hope I have the right ones and I have all the other parts on order. I did pull the injectors off the intake because I couldn't get the vacuum tube off the elbow, do I need to replace those? There quite expensive
