Question nikasil and injector cleaner?

i have a 1998 xjr with its original engine [105,000 miles] i have done the chains and tensioners, but what i would like to know is it ok to use an injector cleaner, either diy [pour a bottle of x in the tank] or one of the pro flushes ? would any of them harm the nikasil? or should i just let the old girl soldier on as is?

Why do you want to clean the injectors? The only enemy to Nikasil is Sulfur. I use BG44K once a year.

My VDP is 98 with 85K on original engine. I use Lucas on every third-fourth tank.

You will not find in most local stores but you will find it in most dealerships or garages. It is good stuff and at $20.00 +/- a few it should be.
